Koi Cat
by Amanda Nicole McIntyre
Graphic Designer, Textile Designer/Illustrator and Fine Artist
Amanda Nicole McIntyre is a Denville NJ, artist living in Rainbow Lakes. Painting since childhood, she always loved to capture the beauty of nature. Amanda is inspired by the birds, foxes, and bears that pass through her backyard. The rolling hills, wildflowers, and mountains of New England are always a source of inspiration. Amanda is newly love-struck for the mountains of the PNW after a work trip to Kula Cloth headquarters. Nature is her muse and she sees the world in brush strokes. She works with Acrylics, Oils, and Watercolors.
During the day, Amanda is the Creative Director for an outdoor gear company called, Kula Cloth®. She also does seasonal freelance design work, including work for Buddy Valastro, The Cake Boss. Amanda juggles her work as a designer, artist, and the role of primary caretaker for her 5-year-old son.
She loves getting involved in the local art scene, from the Art Walk at Frelinghuysen Arboretum to Art at the Esplanade in Mountain Lakes, NJ.
When she's not painting, you can find her hiking with her family and friends, baking biscotti in her kitchen, or making homemade sauce and meatballs for Sunday dinner.
