The Muse Philosophy

We believe that everyone has a desire to live with passion, beauty and inspiration. We have therefore created a sanctuary for guests to enhance the connection between body, mind and spirit.

Mission & Passion

The Urban Muse is a holistic gift store and wellness spa dedicated to inspiring and supporting the exploration of our authentic selves. Through the use of inspirational products, classes, and services offered, The Urban Muse hopes to provide the fertile ground for the seed of personal growth in a stress-free environment.

The emphasis of The Urban Muse is on connecting the mind, body, and spirit. When these three aspects of the Self are in harmony, it allows passage for the individual to live one's life with true passion.

Founders

Tracy and Kristin Pamperin are extremely passionate about being active players in the community. Both have served on the Denville Chamber of Commerce Board, and Kristin has served as a past President. During her tenure as Chamber President, Kristin was instrumental in helping local businesses cope with and recover from Hurricane Irene, coordinating numerous Town Hall meetings and a gift certificate relief program. 

In 2008 Tracy and Kristin were awarded Denville's 'Business Person’s of the Year'. In 2013 Kristin was honored by the Lakeland Hills YMCA as Denville 'Person of the Year' for all her community service.

In 2015 Tracy was awarded 'Volunteer Person of the Year’ by the Denville Chamber for her tireless efforts in coordinating events and providing the creative vision for Denville’s Open House, Pink Witches, Hop into Denville, and Ladies Night Out.

Through The Urban Muse, Tracy and Kristin co-founded the Melpomene Wellness Clinic, a free monthly spa event for Cancer Survivors that ran for over 7 years.
