Directions
From the West:
Take I-80 East to exit 38 (Denville exit). Follow the exit onto Route 46 East. Take the exit for Route 53 North, at the stop sign make a right. Make another right at the light (Bloomfield Ave). Go 0.18 miles. Just before the Chinese restaurant (Hunan Taste) make a sharp left / u-turn and the store will be in front of you.
From the East:
Take I-80 West to exit 42b (Route 46). At the second light make a left onto Route 46 West. Go 2 miles (through 3 traffic lights) and make a soft right at the Sogo (with black Shinto gate signage) into Denville. Continue into town staying right at the split. We are in the first strip of buildings on the right.
From the South:
Take I-287 North to I-80 West to exit 42b (Route 46), then follow the directions from the East.
From the North:
Take I-287 South to I-80 West to exit 42b (Route 46), then follow the directions from the East.
Parking
Most parking in downtown Denville is one hour, including the street in front of our store/spa. Two hour parking is located across the street in the Municipal Lot on Bloomfield Ave or on the street around the bend (2nd Ave). If you are planning on staying for more then two hours, please stop by our front desk before checking in and receive a complimentary pass for the Municipal Lot located across the street.

Free Wellness Clinic
The Urban Muse will provide a holistic healing center offering cancer patients complimentary services to aid them on the road to wellness. We have created a sanctuary for guests to enhance the connection between body, mind and spirit. It is an atmosphere that nourishes the soul and encourages us to care deeply for ourselves. The Urban Muse Melpomene Wellness Clinic is free to all cancer survivors and patients. The Clinic is held the second Sunday of every month from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. Due to overwhelming popularity, we please ask that only CURRENT cancer patients and survivors who have had treatment within the last year book treatments at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
To participate in this free clinic please call The Urban Muse at 973-525-9216 after the 1st of the month of the clinic you're interested in. Our staff will guide you through the appointment process. We accept appointments up to 4 hours before the clinic begins. All services are by appointment only. Please only one service per visit. Massage
Research studies show massage reduces heart rate, lowers blood pressure, relaxes muscles and improves range of motion. Human touch is an important aspect for patients to reconnect with their physical selves. Many people feel alienated from their bodies as a result of distressing repercussions of cancer and cancer treatment. Massage can help bridge the physical body and the larger realm of personal integration and wellbeing. -
Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or fell stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. -
Reflexology
Reflexology is the appication of pressure and movement to the feet to affect corresponding parts of the body. Massage therapists view the feet as a mirror image of the body, and by applying certain techniques the therapist can help break up patterns of stress in other parts of the body. Ten minutes of reflexology treatments can provide relief from pain, nausea and anxiety according to a report from the School of Nursing. -
Express Facial
Skin is cleansed with a luxurious blend of botanical extracts. This treatment includes an exfoliation and a reviatlizing mask. An Oriental massage of teh face and neck improves the absorption of essential nutrients to create a radiant complexion. -
Angel Readings
Intuitive guidance from your Angels. Our practioner selects angel cards with inspiration messages and then interprets them for you. This is a unique opportunity to get some guidance in your life.
